Kerala,
land of kera vriksha-coconut trees, a tree not native to
the soil exemplifies the magnanimous tradition of
hospitality. The greenest of all Indian states is a
great repository of floral and faunal resource.

Alappuzha has a warm and pleasant tropical climate with
seasonally excessive rainfall. The climate is generally
humid in nature. High season time is during
August-September and February-March. Three rivers,
numerous canals and backwaters that criss-cross the land
regulate the climate.
